These terms apply to everything sold on this website by Emory Lunn ("I", "me", "my"). By buying something here you agree to them.
Who you are buying from
Orders on this website are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as the merchant of record. That means Paddle is the seller for the purposes of your payment, handles the transaction, issues your receipt, and deals with sales tax and VAT. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
I am the author and I provide the books and any writing you commission.
What you are buying
- The novels. Digital files — EPUB, PDF and large-print PDF. They are delivered immediately after payment and are also emailed to you.
- A personalised copy. The same files with your name printed inside, prepared by hand and sent by email, normally within two days.
- Written work made to order. A page or a book written from the answers you give me. Delivered as digital files.
Everything sold here is digital. Nothing is posted to you unless it says so explicitly at the time of purchase.
What you may do with it
Your purchase is for your own personal use. You may read it on as many of your own devices as you like, print it for yourself, and give a printed copy to a member of your family.
You may not resell it, upload it to a website or file-sharing service, or distribute it publicly. The text remains my copyright.
A book written about your family is yours to keep, print and pass on. I will not publish it, sell it, or show it to anybody without asking you first.
Commissioned work
When you order written work I will ask you questions. I write from the answers you give me. I cannot verify what you tell me and I write it as given.
You confirm that you have the right to share what you send me, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.
Timescales given on this site are estimates made in good faith. If something delays me I will tell you.
Two rounds of corrections are included with any commissioned work, and in practice I will keep correcting factual errors — names, dates, places — for as long as it takes to get them right.
Fiction
The novels sold here are works of fiction. The characters are invented. Any resemblance to real people is coincidental.

Limits
I sell these books as they are. I cannot promise that a particular file will open on every device ever made — but if it does not open on yours, write to me and I will sort it out.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Changes
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you bought.
